San Diego, California -- ROYALE ENERGY, INC. (Nasdaq Symbol: ROYL ) reports revenues for the first three months of 1995 were $1,028,263, an increase of $262,329 (34.3%) over the same period in 1994.

Overall the Company recorded a net loss for the quarter of $549,900 which represented a $217,492 increase from the Company's net loss of $332,408 in the first quarter of 1994.  The increased loss was mainly due to increases in general and administrative expenses and depreciation expenses.

The loss was not unexpected as the Company does not typically drill in the first quarter. The Company expects to end the second quarter with a profit resulting from its scheduled drilling operations.
